CASCADE

Tanzplattform Deutschland 2022, https://www.tanzplattform2022.de/, www.tanzplattform2022.de

In CASCADE Meg Stuart and seven dancers seek a foothold in the tides of time, giving themselves up to gravity in a desire to overcome transience and linearity. Bodies become unbalanced in a cosmic setting, clutch at one another, cover rough ground and lose their orientation. Complex rhythmic structures contain the promise of a new era on the brink. Interruption becomes the driving force in a game of refusal and solicitude. What dreams must we leave behind? CASCADE invokes a physical and mental abandonment to uncertainty: a free fall in the falling apart of time.
