PACK

Tanzplattform Deutschland 2022, https://www.tanzplattform2022.de/, www.tanzplattform2022.de

Six dancers, six physical types – 40° in the studio. Urban dance, breakdance, contemporary and everything in between. A group of men bounce their bodies off one another or knot them together, loosening or hardening themselves up in an interplay of individuality, group dynamics and common ground. We follow their rules of cooperation, hear the weight of their bodies crash to the floor and feel the air as they reel headlong through the space. Their get-together follows dynamic role patterns and casts aside categories of ‘street and high culture’. Take off or take part. A group, a pack, in movement.
